STUDIO 1

Studio 1 is our flagship studio, designed and built by Eastcote founder Philip Bagenal in 1980. The studio was built to be a place where musicians can perform together, a place with all the gear necessary to make incredible sounding recordings whilst maintaining a relaxed atmosphere ususally associated with smaller studios.

  • 4 inter-connected recording spaces with varied and flexible acoustics, allowing control of separation whilst maintaining good visual contact.

  • Custom made 8-channel headphone mixers with powerful headphone amps directly routed from ProTools; the best foldback system in London!

  • Stunning outboard collection including vintage UREI, PULTEC, TELETRONIX, GML and much more.

  • Legendary MCI JH500 console, custom built in 1971 for Island Record, lovingly restored and modified for today’s tracking needs.

  • Protools HDX 32x32 and Analogue 24-track 2” (Otari MTR 90).

  • Yamaha 6’6” grand piano .

  • Hammond C3 Organ and Leslie tone cabinet with Trek interface.

  • Rhodes ‘suitcase’ electric piano, Wurlitzer electric piano, Hohner Clavinet.

  • Large selection of synthesisers, amps, instruments and other toys.

  • Extensive microphone collection of both vintage and modern microphones including many valve and ribbon mics.
